Fire burns

I must have been on quite a roll to be able to get "Fire" done so quickly. Effy Wild from Wild Precious Studio advised us in our Elements of Art Journal to just put it down to music and let it flow.

I took Effy's advice and shook my booty to the music while I slammed paint around and also did a fair amount of finger painting. Later when it had dried....which took awhile as I'd also sprayed a lot of water on it.......maybe in an effort to 'cool' it down, I picked out a few of the squiggles and swirls with a metallic gel pen. It's really not my 'style' of painting, but it is what came out of the emotions 'anger and frustration' which came up for me during contemplation of this element FIRE!
